Indian Cooking Class

On Thursday, September 22, we’ll hold an Indian Cooking class. It’ll be taught by Zan Asha of Bronx Bees and Beyond Vagabond – Zan taught our Cooking With Honey class earlier this year, as well as classes in beekeeping & other subjects around the QC and Iowa. She is an absolute delight and we had a great time at the honey class! Indian Cooking is bound to be just as fun, as she shows us how cooking Indian food can be easy & accessible.

In addition to sharing some basic principles of Indian cooking, Zan will teach us to make Aloo Naan (potato-stuffed bread) and Vegetable Biriyani. My mouth is watering just looking at the recipes she sent me!

The course will cost $25, which we’ll need at least a few days in advance so we can buy ingredients. It’ll take place at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 2400 Middle Road, Bettendorf, on Thursday, September 22 at 6:30 pm.

Please email slowfoodqc@gmail.com by Thursday, September 15, if you’d like to take this class. Space is limited, so get your reservation in as soon as possible!
