It’s time for another Slow Food Quad Cities potluck!
On Saturday, December 10, we will gather at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 4501 7th Ave., Rock Island. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and we will begin our meal at noon. This potluck is holiday themed, so you’re encouraged to bring a favorite holiday dish. (Here’s hoping we don’t end up with nothing but pie and cookies! On the other hand, that wouldn’t be all bad….) We won’t turn you away if your dish isn’t holiday-related – just bring something you love to eat.
After we’re done with our meal, we will begin our board meeting. All are welcome to stay and contribute to the meeting – we will be recapping our first year as a chapter and making plans for 2012. We would love to hear your comments and suggestions! If you prefer to just eat and head out before the meeting, that’s fine too. If you can’t make it to lunch but would like to attend the meeting, it will probably start somewhere around 1:30 p.m.
