Field trip to Potosi Brewery

Who’s ready for a fall road trip? Slow Food Quad Cities is!

On Saturday, October 27, we’re taking a road trip bound to appeal to folks who love beer, food, history, or all of the above! We’re visiting Wisconsin’s Potosi Brewery for lunch, beer tasting, and a tour of their National Brewery Museum.

Potosi brews heritage beers based on the recipes of their original brewery, founded in 1852. These days, you can sit down in the restaurant or bar for favorites like Good Old Potosi and Cave Ale, and you can learn about the history of brewing in the museum.

On the 27th, we will be eating lunch at 1:00, followed by a visit to the bar for folks who want to do some beer tasting, a trip through the museum, and a final stop at a cheese shop to buy our other favorite Wisconsin product! Carpool will leave Davenport at 11:00 for a trip of about an hour and 40 minutes, and we can expect to return home in the early-to-mid evening.

Space is limited for this trip and RSVP is required by Monday 10/15! If you would like to join us, please sign in at our RSVP link – you can also note there whether you’d like to be part of the carpool.

We hope you’ll join us!
