Clean: Nutritious food that is as good for the planet as it is for our bodies.
Fair: Quality food that is accessible to all, regardless of income, and produced by people treated with dignity.
Slow Food chapters celebrate the amazing bounty of food that is available and work to strengthen the connection between the food on our plates and the health of our planet.
Slow Food Quad Cities lives the Slow Food philosophy in the Illinois-Iowa Quad Cities, made up of Davenport, Rock Island, Moline, Bettendorf, and surrounding towns. Our group gets together to share food at potlucks and restaurant meals, learn more about food (from growing to shopping to cooking), visit and support area food growers and artisans, and more.
