We’re going to do just that with an apple cider pressing party on Friday, October 7 from 6-10 p.m. at Miss Effie’s Country Flowers & Garden Stuff, 27387 130th Ave, Donahue. We’ll be making cider with local, pesticide-free apples – anyone can try their hand at making some cider, and we’ll all get some cider to drink. We’ll also have a bonfire going, and you’re welcome (but not required) to bring some food to put on the grill or a side dish to share. If we have leftover cider at the end of the night, anyone who brings a mason jar can take some home to enjoy.
I hope you’ll join us – and if you can come, we do need an RSVP so we can plan. You can RSVP at our Facebook event page or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. See you there!
